Strongroom has been serving the ever-changing faces of Shoreditch for nearly 30 years. One half of the legendary Strongroom recording studios, they were one of the pioneer late-night venues in the area back in the days of warehouse raves, cruising joints and strip bars. The present day space is eclectic, colourful and adorned with music memorabilia. It's set across two stories of a former east end warehouse overlooking a huge ivy-covered and fairy lit outdoor courtyard.
The courtyard is the perfect spot for craft beer and burgers, night or day, rain or shine. The drinks menu is carefully curated, featuring local breweries and indie distilleries. The menu is a modern take on pub grub with outstanding vegan and vegetarian options.
Or you can head indoors to catch a club night or gig. The live music space is intimate (x150 capacity) and they put on a steady stream of local and emerging artists mid-week onwards. Gig listings are over at "What's On" on the website.

Partial courtyard hire includes a semi-private area towards the back of our outdoor courtyard, which will be sectioned off. This area catches the last of the evening sunshine and has built in seating and a lush living wall. A partial courtyard hire is perfect for smaller groups or events on a budget. |
