Sometimes we all wake up and feel we need a little star attention. Whether you're just wanting to treat yourself, see how the other half dine, or generally just enjoy keeping up with the hottest joints, we've complied a list of the best celebrity-spotting and celeb-owned restaurants in Manchester to tick off your list - think tapas, rooftop haunts and eateries from TV chefs.

Peter Street Kitchen

Pre‑Theatre Set Menu – Two Courses from £23

A fine dining beauty mixing Mediterranean and Japanese fare, Peter Street Kitchen is one unique (and gorgeous) restaurant that's sure to attract a star or two. Not only can you nab luxury food like wagyu beef tataki with black truffle ponzu, Hamachi tartare and meat sizzling on hot lava stones, but those sleek neutral interiors are ideal to pop on Insta.

Mana

After Michelin star restaurants in Manchester? Mana is the only one with that title, and so it's no surprise that it attracts celebs and ordinary folk alike. Admire the Scandi space while tucking into tasting menus from Simon Martin, former chef at the world-class Danish restaurant NOMA.

Bar San Juan

A Spanish restaurant in Manchester for celebrities, Bar San Juan is unassuming on first look. It's cosy and traditional, with a handful of tables inside and out in Chorlton. Having been hailed as the city's best tapas by Michelle Keegan on James Acaster and and Ed Gamble's Off Menu podcast, this place has to be visited to be believed - trust us.

Tast Catala

If you were looking for Pep Guardiola's joint on our list, you best believe we included it. With a focus on (naturally) Spanish cuisine, Tast Catala has brought flavours of Barcelona to King Street. Choose between Catalan-style rice with pork ribs, wild seabass or sirloin steak and a range of small plates.
